a Gruha pravesham

For the uninitiated, "Kshana kshanam" in the Telugu language, my mother tongue, translates into Moment by Moment. It is also the name of a superhit Sridevi + Venkatesh Telugu movie, of which I have seen partially.

You wanna know why a man chose pink? Go figure...I believe in the aesthetic philosophy of Manish Arora, who like me, is in total love with bright shocking colours. And I am straight, if stereotypes are entering your heads. I absolutely love Manish Arora's sense of style & aesthetics. I do love fashion & style.

This blog is intended as a Daily Diary. Naren's blog post put it accurately that one has to record one's feelings, emotions, experiences through the day, otherwise all the special moments that one has experienced throughout the day, all the memories basically, if not recorded, they fade away, and it is only the emotions that stay back.

You must have often experienced certain kinds of emotions & feelings. You may experience a deja vu, you may have been through moments where you feel you've done all that's been done right now by someone else, or being recounted by others. But most of the time, you will not be able to recall the practical experience, all that remains are the emotions, like a ghost.

Which is exactly the reason for starting off a daily diary. I realise I have had a fairly varied career life since I started working at the age of 20. I started off in the Banking & Financial services industry at Bangalore. I worked in Hyderabad, Bangalore & Vizag, with a substantial 11 months spent at Vizag. I then sat at home for 8 months, pretending to prepare for CAT, while doing just about everything else. And then came a whirlwind 1 year at MICA, doing an MBA focussed on retail & marketing communications which included 1 month of travelling across 17 cities in India, 2 months working for a management consultancy in Bangalore as an Intern, and 10 days across London, Paris & Dubai. Not to mention, I'll be off to Bangalore for my Induction at the same firm I was interning at in Bangalore, in June, and would be moving base to Gurgaon after that. Now, I'm not gonna mention the vacation spots I plan to travel, it'll become a little heavy. Lets take things as they come, shall we?

And So it becomes all the more important to record my memories.....So I develop more as a person, with my memories very much intact, so that it gives me an opportunity to hone my skills as an aspirational writer, and of course, simply for the pure joy of writing.

Great. Enough said. Day # 1 follows.
